Real Madrid is not having Timo Werner either in January or at the end of season
RB Leipzig sporting director, Ralph Ragnick has rejected the talk of Werner joining Real Madrid anytime soon! The director has made certain that Timo Werner will not move to Real Madrid in either January or the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid, the crown-holders of LaLiga and Champions League have been linked with a move for Werner. Madrid looks forward to buying the 21-year-old as it attempts to overhaul their squad after a poor start to this season. Currently, the Spanish Giants are lagging behind Barcelona by 8 points.
There are Strong Remarks from Leipzig
At this point, RB Leipzig is determined to hold on to Timo Werner and denies to transfer this gem to any club until the 2020s. In addition to that, Ragnick has made a fierce stance that his star will not be joining the Spanish Giants in the near future.
“In winter nor in summer: We will keep Timo Werner with us. We are in intensive talks with his advisor”, the German Said while talking about the interests of Real Madrid. “These are things I do not take seriously”, Ragnick added while talking about the reports in Spanish media.
Werner is a Rising Star
Werner has seen the heights of fame following his remarkable performances for Leipzig. The German has scored 28 goals in 42 league appearances, taking him to Bundesliga prominence. The striker, owing to his spectacular performances, has gained the eye of numerous top dogs.
Timo Werner has also been linked with Bayern Munich. The Bavarians are having a hard time in absence of an alternative to Robert Lewandowski. Werner is a forward player who has the capability to play out wide.
For the national team, Timo Werner has scored 6 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 games.

There is a lot of talent in this individual and a potential that can take him sky-high!
Real Madrid should opt out for their purchase of a striker at this time. The addition of Werner would yield many good results on the striking capabilities of the Spanish Giants. However, since the transfer of Werner is not around the corner, they should look into investing for a Goalkeeper such as David de Gea or Thibaut Courtois. We all know that Keylor Navas has made mistakes during the last few months. So, this might be a good option to consider as the time passes by.
