English Premier League giants Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia joined the academy of Dinamo Tbilisi at a very early age. The winger then graduated from Tbilisi academy and was promoted to the main team.
Kvaratskhelia played one season for Tbilisi and joined another Georgian club Rustavi. Then just after a few months, Kvaratskhelia signed for Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow on loan.
After the end of his loan deal, he played three years for Rubin Kazan and a few months at Dinamo Batumi before finally joining Serie-A club Napoli at the start of the season.
Manchester City want to sign Kvaratskhelia

Now according to a report from Calciomercato, Defending English Premier League giants Manchester City are keenly monitoring the Georgian winger.
Manchester City sold English winger Raheem Sterling at the start of this season. However, they decided to not have a like-for-like replacement for him. They signed Argentine international Julian Alvarez who is mainly a striker but can play as a wide forward as well.
But finally, it seems like Manchester City are going to sign a traditional winger as Sterling’s replacement soon. And for that role, Kvaratskhelia is going to be a very good fit.
After joining Napoli at the start of this season, the Georgian has been sensational so far. He has already scored five goals and provided three assists for the Italian team in Serie-A.
On top of this, he has two more goals and three more assists in the UEFA Champions League. Due to his brilliant performances, he has been nicknamed Kvaradona by Napoli fans after the legend Maradona himself.
Now despite City’s interest, it is very unlikely that Napoli will want to sell one of its biggest assets. And even if they do so, this can cost City a very big number. Apart from City, many other teams are already monitoring the winger.
So, if Manchester City wants to acquire the services of Kvaratskhelia, they will have to move fast and present a good enough offer to Napoli.
City lost their first match last weekend
Now Manchester City have got a good start to their title defense. The Citizens have won seven out of their first ten matches. With twenty-three points they are currently in the second position in the table.
City however suffered their first defeat of the season against Liverpool last weekend. Their mid-week fixture against Arsenal has been postponed. Now they will face Brighton in their next match.
