The Red Devils are looking at adding further quality to their squad in the summer transfer window and are linked with a move to sign Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan Bissaka for around £55 million, with his medical set to take place soon.
Manchester United endured a torturous season last term as they finished in sixth place on the Premier League table. One area that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to strengthen is the back line and in order to achieve that he will have to bring in some new faces to replace the static players like Ashley Young, Phil Jones, and Chris Smalling.
Having already signed Welsh pacey winger Daniel James from Swansea City, the Norwegian is looking to invest in youth and is now keen on making Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan Bissaka as his next signing this week.
Wan Bissaka was one of the best players for the Eagles last season and impressed plenty of top clubs in the European continent with his pace, agility and defensive traits. United already made a £50 million bid for the England U-21 international but have seen their bid rejected by Palace.
Now United are stepping up their offer to £55 million which would probably give them the green light to signing Wan Bissaka. The only thing remaining for Wan Bissaka to complete his move to Old Trafford is his medical which is set to be completed by the end of this week.
Wan Bissaka is flying home to England following a poor campaign in the Euro U-21’s as the Three Lions lost all three of their three group games. Now the defender wants to finalize his move to Manchester United and that is the reason why he has scheduled his move back home before heading out on holiday and returning to pre-season with his new club.
Manchester United will have signed a great player if they complete a move for Wan Bissaka in the summer for a £55 million deal. In this transfer market, one has to pay the big sums for top players but the final confirmation is still pending.
