Manchester United News: Cristiano Ronaldo has made his feelings clear about Erik Ten Hag. The Portuguese international feels that the incoming manager would need time. 

The Portuguese international has now officially seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows at Manchester United. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo won everything with the legendary manager including the UEFA Champions League title. 

However, the Portuguese international has not been very successful in his second stint. In fact, Manchester United have not even qualified for next season’s Champions League after finishing outside the top four. 

With Erik Ten Hag coming in, there would be multiple changes in the squad. The board is set to provide the manager with a significant transfer fee. Hence it has to be seen if the Red Devils can improve themselves in the coming seasons.

Manchester United News: Cristiano Ronaldo talked about Erik Ten Hag for the first time since the Dutchman was announced as the new head coach. The icon claimed that the players are happy and excited about Ten Hag’s arrival. 

As per the Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo said, “What I know about Erik Ten Hag is he did a fantastic job for Ajax, that he’s an experienced coach. But we need to give him time. Things need to change the way he wants” 

The Portuguese international was quick to wish Erik Ten Hag all the success at United. Ronaldo said that if the Dutchman succeeds it would make the Manchester United fans very happy.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 18 Premier League goals this season. He has also won the Premier League player of the month award on two occasions. Hence with just the Crystal Palace game remaining, it has to be seen if he can breach the 20 goals mark once again.

Manchester United News: Though Cristiano Ronaldo said so many wonderful things about Erik Ten Hag, the striker did not mention anything about his future. Hence this has caused a bit of concern to the United fans. 

There has been speculation regarding the Portuguese international’s future with the club. United won’t be taking part in the UEFA Champions League. Hence there is a good chance that Ronaldo could be leaving in the summer. 

There has also been news suggesting that Erik Ten Hag does not want Cristiano Ronaldo at the club. The Dutchman reportedly feels that the icon would not suit his tactics.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo said during the interview, “Let’s believe that, next year, we are going to win trophies.” Hence the “we” in this statement could suggest that the Portuguese might stay. But with football anything can happen, hence it has to be seen what Ronaldo decides to do with his future.
