Manchester United News: Marcus Rashford claims he is in a “good place” and prepared for a new chapter under Erik ten Hag.
Last season, Rashford had his worst season at United. He scored just five goals as his form and confidence failed him. He also lost his position on the England team as a result.
Rashford’s slide was the most pronounced, and for the first time, his future at Old Trafford was in doubt. The majority of United’s team endured a season to forget.
However, the 24-year-old says he feels revitalised and prepared for a fresh start under ten Hag after spending a big portion of the summer improving his fitness and physique at Nike HQ in the US.

Prior to United’s second preseason match, against Melbourne Victory on Friday, Rashford stated, “For me it’s a fresh start, something I’m looking forward to.”
“The first 2.5 weeks of training have gone well. We’ve made a lot of progress, and we’re much fitter than we were last year. There is much room for development. Right now, I’m in a good place. The prospect of playing more games and preparing for the season excites me.
“When a team is winning, mistakes are much simpler to make. Individually, each one is identical. In a winning team, it’s much simpler to bounce back and get better when mistakes are made. It’s hard when you’re losing.”
“I haven’t been with the team since the start of preseason until this year. When I travel with the national team and return halfway through the preseason, I feel much better than usual. Get a new start; it’s essential. I feel energised and prepared.
There are numerous tasks to complete and numerous notifications to pay attention to.
“We’ll use our time in pre-season to acquire the greatest versions of each other, individually and as a team. It’s about being focused and striving to offer the best of oneself. We will be prepared to begin the season if we do that.
Rashford believes that missing out on the Nations League games last month helped him get back to his best. Rashford is determined to earn his England spot for the World Cup this winter.
It hasn’t been natural to take such a lengthy break—just under four weeks—both physically and mentally, according to Rashford. “This is a chance to recharge. Again, I’m prepared to go.
With a 4-0 victory over Liverpool in Bangkok, Ten Hag’s United tenure got off to the best start conceivable. The Dutchman believes his newly inherited team has a tonne of potential that can be unlocked.
