Manchester United News: Martin Svidersky, a Red Devils academy player, has revealed that he will leave the club. The youngster declined the opportunity to work with new manager Erik ten Hag as part of his Old Trafford revolution.
The Red Devils had offered the 19-year-old defensive midfielder a new contract. However, Svidersky’s future will now be with an unknown LaLiga side after three seasons in England.
United wanted to bind the Slovakian to a new deal, according to the Manchester Evening News. However, it had been expected for months that Svidersky would leave this summer.
The 19-year-old told RTVS about it while on international assignment this week. “I’ve just returned to Spain where I wish to continue my development. The first Spanish division, La Liga, will be my destination. I’m excited; it’ll be a new adventure and a new nation for me.”

Svidersky will leave as a free agent at the end of this month. However, the Red Devils are now due to receive a minor compensation package. This is because of the way they played a part in development of the player.
The long-awaited departure of the Slovakia youth international might open the door for three of United’s FA Youth Cup-winning midfielders, Dan Gore, Kobbie Mainoo, and Isak Hansen-Aaroen, to play in the first team next season.
In recent years, the club’s renowned academy has developed a slew of outstanding midfielders, including Hannibal Mejbri, Charlie Savage, and Zidane Iqbal.
After deposing Svidersky, the trio have already made their first-team debuts. James Garner, Dylan Levitt, and Ethan Galbraith have all broken through, with each enjoying loan stints this season.
Svidersky was rated highly by United.

After trials at Manchester City, West Ham, and Celtic, the Red Devils beat Chelsea and Liverpool to sign Svidersky in 2018.

Ten Hag is expected to put a lot of trust in the young players who will remain at Old Trafford next season.
