Manchester United player set to be represented by Mino Raiola

Marcus Rashford

Mino Raiola has reportedly managed to increase his tally of clients at the Old Trafford. Manchester United’s superstar youngster Marcus Rashford might be the next player to be represented by Raiola. This news is a matter of concern for the United fans after the recent criticism of the club by the Dutch agent.

Marcus Rashford has been a key figure for the Red Devils since the departure of Romelu Lukaku. He has certainly been the heart of United’s attack alongside the Frenchman Anthony Martial. The 22-year-old forward scored 14 goals and assisted 4 in 22 Premier League appearances last season.

Raiola recently tied up with another young Manchester United prospect Jese Lingard. Since then, Lingard has been linked to a move away from England. The agents representing Marcus Rashford had talked to Raiola earlier in 2019. And now, his brothers Dane and Dwaine held talks with him regarding a collaboration.

“Pogba needs a team and a club, one like the first Juve” – Raiola

Paul Pogba has been the center of the limelight at the Old Trafford for the past couple of weeks. His agent Raiola recently took a dig at the club. He claimed that he won’t send any more of his clients to Manchester United as the club is “out of reality” and can destroy the likes of Pele and Maradona. He even had an argument with United’s legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson regarding his client Pogba.

“For Pogba, I fought with Ferguson. Paul was the only one to say no to him, he never digested this and took it out on me. But now, Pogba’s problem is Manchester, it’s a club out of reality, without a sports project.”

This news regarding Raiola’s tie-up with Marcus Rashford is a harsh one for United fans. They were recently thrashed by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Carabao Cup. And now, their most prolific forward might be on his way out in the summer. With Robert Lewandowski already in his 30’s, Bayern would certainly want a replacement for him in the summer. This might open the exit doors for Rashford.
