We look at the ratings for United players in their 1-0 win over Manchester City.

David De Gea – 6/10

Manchester City failed to attempt any shit on target and that made De Gea’s job easier as it gets. He had nothing great to do throughout the game buy his distribution was good to initiate attacks for United.

Antonio Valencia – 7/10

He was a threat down the right flank with his runs and whipped in quite some crosses. Also held the ground well against Sane and co.

Daley Blind – 7/10

Again was played as a centre-back but on the right hand side and did the job equally well. He was solid in the defense and was really confident with the ball on his feet.

A nightmare for the fans to see him on the team sheet but he proved them wrong with a solid performance in the defense. Kept Ihenacho and then Aguero on the fringes.

Luke Shaw – 6/10

Jesus Navas gave him a hard time twisting him left and right but he was great going forward and linked up well with Rashford at times.

Michael Carrick – 7/10

His composure on the pitch is what United had been lacking, everytime he had the ball he looked to pass forward and Mourinho needs to use him wisely now.

Ander Herrera – 8/10

Best player on the pitch for United. He was fighting for everything and kept the ball going forward. Had a huge role in the goal.

Paul Pogba – 6/10

Not at his usual best so far this season but he was looking to create things and made some good moves.

Juan Mata – 7/10

The Spaniard again proved his worth as he tucked in the all crucial goal and was also very much involved in everything. Always been making a case for himself to start the games with great performances.

Marcus Rashford – 7/10

The teenager was good on the night and made some surging runs. Was involved in most of the United’s attacks. But his goal drought has been extended.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 5/10
