Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar is reportedly open to a joining a Premier League club .Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was desperate to sign a central defender in the summer, but the Red Devils officials never sanctioned a move for it. They have failed to lure any of their defensive targets.

Jose Mourinho is now looking for a central defender and has put Skriniar it’s top target. Mourinho is understood to have urged United to splash the cash on big on Skriniar. The Red Devils are also keen in landing A.C Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Skriniar is ‘intrigued’ by a move to England amid the growing interest from United.

The Slovak  told Sport.sk, “Yes, but I don’t know if it’s true. Personally, I don’t know, as the transfer window has just shit, so it’s hard for me to say anything. There was some noise in the summer, but nothing happened, so I’m not letting it bother me.” Skriniar is delaying talks over a new contract at the San Siro. He is angling to exit Inter at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

Author’s take:

United should land Skriniar. The Slovakian has a lot of matches under his belt at such a young age. He seems to angling a move away from Inter. However, if the Red Devils have to land him then they need a spend a lot of cash on him. Inter don’t want Skriniar to leave till the end of the season, but United’s heavy check may help solve their defensive worries.
