Manchester United have been missing out on some primary targets since the turn of the calendar eleven months ago. Their year may finally end on a good note if things go well in the market.
Manchester United have been given some bad blues not just by their blue neighbours Manchester City, but also some of their most important transfer targets. Everybody that the Red Devils are targeting seems like rejecting them and they have not made one good signing since that of Romelu Lukaku last year.
However, they may be in for some good news after one of their targets from the far west said that he would be interested in moving to the Old Trafford. Gremio player Everton has been shortlisted by the Red Devils after some good performances in the last few months for the Brazilian side.
“We all hear the rumours at some point, right?” he told SporTV when asked about talk of United’s interest. “I’m going through an exceptional phase, and we know how hard it is when clubs from England look at Brazilian players, for their quality. Let’s see what happens at the end of the season, wait until it is over, and see what’s best both for me and Gremio.”
The Red Devils will certainly be at a benefit if they can land in Everton in the upcoming months. Given that he is a left winger, they may have finally found someone to replace Alexis Sanchez who has turned out to be a complete flop since transferring in from Arsenal in January this year.
