Both Rashford and Dalot’s current contract with Man Utd expires in 2023. But the Red Devils do have an option to extend it by another 12 months.
Meanwhile, Rashford and Dalot are not the only first-team players whose current contract expires next year. Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea, Fred and Luke Shaw all have less than one year left on their current deal with the Premier League side.
Meanwhile, Man Utd had a difficult start to the 22/23 season as they lost their opening two matches in the Premier League. Manchester United hosted Brighton & Hove Albion in their first match and succumbed to a 2-1 defeat. The Red Devils then suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford in their next game.
Man Utd, though, has bounced back from that dreadful start, winning all the games they have played in the Premier League since. The Old Trafford outfit secured their first win of the season when they took on bitter rivals Liverpool. Man Utd inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Jurgen Klopp’s side in that match.
They followed that up with two 1-0 wins – over Southampton and Leicester City. Man Utd then made it four wins in a row when they secured a 3-1 win over league leaders Arsenal. Rashford scored two of Man Utd’s three goals in that game against Arsenal.
