Since then English International has already made 100 appearances for the club. He has netted 13 goals and provided 18 assists so far.

Along with a lot of other clubs, Manchester United was also very interested to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2020.

United had a meeting with the youngster back then which included heavyweights like Sir Alex Ferguson, Bryan Robson and Eric Cantona. After the meeting, the midfielder was given a tour of the club’s Carrington training base.

While recalling the meeting the former United player Robson told The Sun, “Unfortunately for us [Bellingham] decided to move to Germany. We thought we more or less had him. Myself, Sir Alex and Eric Cantona all met him with his mum and dad at Carrington and after that meeting, we thought he was coming to us.”

However, despite United’s grand effort, Bellingham decided to join Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham’s performance in Dortmund has only gone upwards. As a result, he is now predicted to be in the centre of the transfer market, next season.

Spanish giants Real Madrid and English club Liverpool are rumoured to be the two clubs who have the highest probability to land the youngster.
