Chelsea were finally able to make amends to their rough December track record as they returned back to winning ways against 10-men Fulham. The Pensioners won 1-0 courtesy of a Mason Mount goal in the second half.
Frank Lampard sported a different team contrary to the expectations of the Chelsea fans and this didn’t go down well. Fans are still adamant that Callum Hudson-Odoi should be starting given the form he is in.
The Blues will be facing Leicester City in the Premier League in an away fixture. Frank Lampard and his men face a stern challenge and need to bring their A-game if they want to get anything out of this match.
With just five points separating the top six positions in the Premier League table, the competition is cutthroat, to say the least. Leicester City will not give away an inch and the same applies to the London club as well. The game promises to be a delicious prospect with plenty of quality on display.
Frank Lampard speaks on Fikayo Tomori’s future at the club

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has said that Fikayo Tomori definitely has a big future at the club and believes a loan move will do him the world of good. Lampard spoke to the media after the win against Fulham.
He absolutely has a long-term future, we will see if and when he goes out on loan. The moment I got close with Fikayo is when I took him on loan to Derby. He was player of the year there and one of the best players in the Championship that season. He then came back last year, played 20 plus games for us, and got in the England squad.
There is a long-term plan for Fikayo in my head about his career here. And if he goes out on loan it will be to enhance his personal development, hopefully help the team he goes to, and come back as a better player.
Marina Granovskia has hit with a problem over the Fikayo Tomori deal
Italian leaders AC Milan
However, Chelsea want the Italian club to give up more money for their youth product. According to reports Transfer director, Marina Granovskia wants them to pay £2.6 million if they want to get Fikayo Tomori on a loan move.
Lampard has made it awfully clear that the departure of Fikayo Tomori won’t affect the club a lot given that Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva are his first-choice defenders. Moreover, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger are also pushing to get more playing time.
In such circumstances, it will be best for Fikayo Tomori to get a loan move and come back to London with some valuable experience. At the moment he faces a very tough challenge to get a place.
Apart from AC Milan, several English clubs are also apparently interested which include the likes of Leeds United. However, the Italian giants are definitely leading the race to sign him.
