Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson might possibly seal a move to English Premier League in the coming weeks. There are reports that the midfielder is on the cusp to move to England at the end of this month or so. Sanson was heavily linked with two other Premier League rival clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur during the previous year.
The North London rivals have initiated a move to Morgan Sanson. However, fate wants him to remain in France and continue playing for the Ligue 1 outfit this season. Marseille is believed to ask for around £25million from the host of suitors in order to part ways with Sanson.
Although there are reports linking Sanson with a move to Premier League. But Le10 Sport has claimed that an unnamed club from England has proposed an offer and the midfielder is on the fringe to complete it before the transfer window closes.
Reports were given by Sky Sports state that there are three clubs who have so far approached Marseille and had emerged as strong contenders in the race of securing Sanson services. Though the name has not been revealed yet.

Towards the end of 2019 when Sanson was open to moving away from Marseille. A number of host of clubs have emerged as favorites to land the versatile midfielder. The names included that of West Ham United, Wolves, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur. During that time Arsenal’s interest also emerged at the top of the surface among the interested club. Sanson with Marseille

Marseille signed Sanson from their domestic rivals Montpellier during 2016. The midfielder has made 156 appearances for the club so far. He has also bagged 25 goals and 23 assists in all the games. Not only he is creative and versatile but he has become a key member of the squad after establishing himself under former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.
He has contributed hugely in helping his side make a second-place finish in Ligue 1 last year. However, Sanson struggles very hard to replicate his form in this campaign as well. But his season was rather hindered by injuries and recoveries. Marseille ended up being at the last in Group C of the UEFA Champions League while managing one single win in six matches.
Earlier in the last week, Olympique de Marseille was beaten by Paris Saint Germain with a 2-1 in the Trophee des Champions. Mauricio Pochettino made history with PSG as he won the first-ever trophy of his managerial career just after two matches of succeeding Thomas Tuchel at the French outfit. Other than this Marseille also sits at sixth position in the Ligue 1 table, eight points behind the French leaders Lyon.
The first half of the current campaign saw Sanson participating regularly for the club. But the midfielder had to sidelines from all recent matches after sustaining a muscle injury in December. It was on Saturday that the French international was seen playing for Marseille for 65 minutes in a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Nimes.
Sanson has made 17 appearances for Marseille for the 2020-21 campaign. He also has two goals and three assists under his belt. His teammate Boubacar Kamara praised him at La Provence. Sanson is a creator, he has several lungs as he sacrifices himself to make spaces for the club. Kamara also said that he’s a good player and would become great in the future.
The former Under 21 France international will get a welcome with wide open arms by any Premier League club. It is because of his ability to play both offensively and defensively from the center of midfield. The 26-year old only has 18 months in his contract to run down.
Marseille sporting director Pablo Longoria remained tight-lipped when Daily Mail interrogated about any possibility of Sanson’s departure at the end of January. He straight away replied that such rumors often come up because Morgan is a good player. However, the club will wait until anything really doesn’t show up and till then he will not involve in this game.
