Mason Mount Vows to Make Chelsea Fans Proud This Season

Chelsea star Mason Mount has admitted that the Blues have underperformed in the first half of the 22/23 season.

The Stamford Bridge outfit head into the winter break languishing at eighth in the Premier League points table. Chelsea have 21 points from 14 matches in the English top flight so far this season. They are a staggering 14 points behind table-toppers Arsenal.

The Blues had a mixed start to the season, and they sacked Thomas Tuchel after they opened their Champions League 22/23 campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb. Chelsea replaced Tuchel with Graham Potter, who left Brighton & Hove Albion to join the west London outfit.

Chelsea were unbeaten in Potter’s first nine games across all competitions in charge of the Blues. However, they go into the winter break having suffered three consecutive defeats in the Premier League. They were also knocked out of EFL Cup by Manchester City.
