Catalunya Tigers CC won the toss and elected to bat at Montjuic Ground, Barcelona. Catalunya Tigers posted 107 for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted quota of 10 overs at an impressive run rate of 10.70. Razaqat Ali, Sufian Ansar, and Ghulam Dastgeer chipped in with valuable contributions to the team.

Razaqat Ali was the pick of the batsmen for Catalunya Tigers as he scored 44 off just 18 balls with the help of 1 four and 5 sixes. Sufian Ansar was the second-best batsman for the team as he scored 34 off 22 (2 fours, 2 sixes).

Ghulam Dastgeer came up with a decent 13-ball-18 with the help of two fours to his name. Apart from these three batsmen, all others who played fell for cheap scores as Catalunya Tigers posted a challenging target.

Raja Khaliq-ur-Rehman was the pick of the bowlers for Pakcelona. He picked up two wickets to his name, giving away 12 runs in his quota of two overs. Shahzad Khan and Adalat Ali picked up one wicket apiece.

Match-fixing? Pakcelona take 2 runs off last ball to tie the match

Pakcelona hilariously takes two runs

In reply, Pakcelona responded pretty well. The openers – Ishtiaq Nazir and Shahzad Khan added value at the top. The duo added a 40-run partnership before Shahzad Khan was dismissed for 22 off 11 (1 four, 2 sixes).

Pakcelona captain Raja Khaliq-ur-Rehman scored 23 off 16 with the help of three fours and a six. Ishtiaq Nazir ended up as the top-scorer for the team as he added 30 off 14 balls. He hit as many as 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Pakcelona almost came close to the target but lost 9 wickets. They required three runs off the last ball. Adalat Ali and Azeem Azam were batting at the crease. Adalat Ali did his best to score runs off the final ball but ended up missing the ball. The ball went straight into the hands of the wicket-keeper.

However, his partner Azeem Azam already started running as soon as Muhammad Kashif delivered the ball. As soon as Azeem Azam reached the striker’s end, he sensed there was one opportunity to take another run.

Azeem Azam shouted at Adalat Ali for another run, then the duo comfortably took a single. However, netizens suspect that the match might have been fixed. The wicket-keeper had all the time to give the ball to the bowler to affect a run-out at the non-striker’s end.

But instead, he paused for a second, thus helping the opposition complete two runs off the last ball. The T10 match ended in a pulsating tie. The hilarious video is doing the rounds across all social media platforms.
