Kylian Mbappe has joined AS Monaco as a part of their preseason training camp in the Swiss Alps. The France international is linked with a host of elite clubs.
It has been reported that Arsenal has lodged a 123 million pounds bid and there is interest from Real Madrid and PSG.
He has been instructed by the team not to talk to media but Marca reported that they have got an exclusive with the youngster.
“I don’t know if I’m going to stay,” he told Marca.
He is an integral part of the title winning season and part of the team which has reached the champions league final last term. He is one of the hottest young prospects in world football, any move away from the club he would break the transfer record set by Paul Pogba.
Monaco is reluctant to sell one of their most prized jewels this summer as most of the team is on the move to their European rivals. With Bernardo Silva already moved to Manchester city and Benjamin Mendy is also expected to join him. Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is expected to join Chelsea and Brazilian Fabinho may also be on the move and attacker Thomas Lemar also a target for Arsenal. Monaco is trying to tie up their players with new contracts and doesn’t want to lose any player as they prepare for retaining their title and another season in the Champions League.
He has signed some autographs and posed for photos with the fans who turned up at the training session.
It will be interesting to see whether he will stay at Monaco or move to one of the Europe’s elite. Where should be the Mbappe’s next destination leave us a comment below
