Barcelona recovered from a rough patch at the club. Everything went topsy turvy after Barca lost their quarterfinals badly. Bayern Munich knocked out the Catalan outfit thrashing them 8-2. This scoreline brought an atmosphere of distress in the dressing room. The players along with star man Messi were not at all happy with the result and blamed the board.
There was more to come as Barcelona captain did not feel at home anymore. Lionel Messi handed in a transfer request as he wanted the board to retire. However, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu did not follow his demands accordingly.
The six-time Balon Dor winner questioned the future plans for the club. Bartomeu tried to use his antics and block every possible move the Argentine could have opted for.
Ultimately, Messi stayed put at Camp Nou. Nevertheless, it was not the end of it. Recently, the Barcelona board let go of club veteran Luis Suarez to join league rivals Atletico Madrid.
Messi calls it even with the board: Agree to disagree
The decision ticked off Leo with his best mate leaving the club. In his farewell post for the Uruguayan, he wrote Suarez did not deserve such an exit. It is quite clear Messi is not pretty fond of the current board which administers Barcelona.
After all the controversy and loud rumors, Messi is calling it a truce. As per Spanish media publication SPORT, the Argentine wants to put it all behind.

Even after so many disagreements, Messi hopes the best is yet to come for the Blaugrana. He went on to become the bigger person and took the responsibility for his mistakes if any.
Leo expressed his feelings that all he wanted was to make the club better and stronger. He found a common objective to achieve the best with help of enthusiasm and passion for football.
When asked about his Instagram post on Suarez’s departure, Messi replied he was ‘hurt’ with recent events at the club. It was his way of expressing himself through the post.
Koeman and Leo: Rebuilding Barcelona together

In the very interview, Messi talked about his will to play a game and win it. There is a habit that he plays to win a match which he cannot let go. He has done the same throughout his playing days and will continue to give his best on the pitch.
Koeman’s new Barcelona has been off to a flying start in La Liga. The Dutch boss won his first competitive game which also saw Messi net his first goal this season.
Barca defeated Villareal 4-0 at Camp Nou with Ansu Fati scoring a brace. Ronald Koeman is also trying to concentrate on the transfer market as the Catalunya side signed Sergino Dest from Ajax. The 19-year-old will replace Nelson Semedo directly ahead of make-shift Sergi Roberto.
