The Gunners were handed yet another defeat at home. They were far from being impressive in the EFL Cup quarter-final match against Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s boys rubbed salt on Arsenal’s wounds by netting a record 4 goals and conceded just 1.

Apart from Alexandre Lacazette, there was no positive intent from the Arsenal players. Gabriel Martinelli gave the fans a ray of hope by giving an assist to Arsenal’s equalizer in the first half.

The youngster who is not yet named in the matchday squad is likely to move on loan to France next month. The £28million signing from Saint Etienne didn’t play against Man City on Tuesday night.
