The Misery Of AC Milan Continues On, With Yet Another Serie A Title Slipping Away

It was back in 2013 when ac Milan last time qualified for UEFA Champions League and 2012 when they won their last Scudetto , but in past few years scenario of the 7 times European champions, AC Milan has been really disappointing, to say the least. They finished 10th and 7th in last two successive season of Serie A 2014 and 2015. With 6 different coaches changed from 2014-2016, ranging from Clerence Seedrof, Filippo Inzaghi, Siniša Mihajlović, Christian Brocchi and Vincenzo Montella(present), things have not really look that good for the club.

Disappointment

While with the start of 2016 season the drama of the sale of the club came to an end, with Chinese are said to be the new owner after Silvio Berlusconi sold his club for a price of $628m.

As the hopes were high with the start of the new season,But looks like crisis are not going to end soon as they lost 2 of there first 3 matches. While conceding 7 goals in 3 matches and scoring 5 five. The defence really looks an
area of concern, while midfield doesn’t look strong as well consisting veteran Montolivo ,the captain isn’t anywhere near to his past form and is occasionally blamed for the losses and criticized for his and slow play and forwards are inconsistent too a top striker like Bacca don’t get service from weak mid-fielders.

Its very likely to say that its going to be again a tough season ahead of Serie A giants. With strong teams like Napoli, Juventus and Roma looks way too strong for Milan. Even mid– table teams have been giving them a tough time too, in the recent seasons and the kind of players that they have signed have not shown any special attributes to get them back to winning major titles.

While the hope comes in January where its said that Chinese will invest a sum of €80m in winter market, there is still a level of doubt whether those players will be able to gel in with the first team and impress or not. Where Milan surely want to improve in defense and midfield. However, till then nothing looks good for Milan, who are currently in sixth place from five games with a total of nine points.

They could either go up from here or fall down, depending on how they perform in the upcoming days. Where the club eventually ends up will also depend on the fact that what kind of players are added to the squad in the winter transfer window eventually.
