Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has figured out the three possible players that Real Madrid will offer Chelsea in order to swap Blues talisman Eden Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The European champions are currently struggling this campaign as they sit 4th in the La Liga table, 17 points behind fierce rivals Barcelona who are in pole position. Madrid has come under heavy pressure this season and has decided to spend big in the summer transfer window in a process to rebuild their squad.
The Los Blancos are desperate to bring Chelsea winger Eden Hazard to Madrid to bolster their attack and are willing to offer one of three massive players in attack for the exchange deal. The reports claim that Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco, and Gareth Bale are the three short-listed players on Chelsea’s radar as Hazard’s replacement.
Ronaldo, Isco or Bale, Who Will It be?-
There are rumors floating around Madrid that Portuguese starlet Cristiano Ronaldo could be heading for the exit door at the Bernabeu by the end of the season as Madrid plan to prepare for life after the 33-year-old. The Euro 2016 champion occupies the left wing at the moment, a similar position that Hazard plays at for Chelsea which is an interesting theory.
Isco has not been a regular this season as the Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order under Zidane with youngsters like Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez picked ahead of the midfield maestro. The skillful 25-year-old is eager to play more often and could be allowed to leave Madrid as Chelsea would welcome Isco with open arms at Stamford Bridge.
Gareth Bale has also been linked with a move back to the Premier League over the past few seasons. The Welshman’s injury worries have halted him from performing on a consistent basis and 28-year-old attacker Bale hasn’t been up to the mark for the Madrid faithful this season. And Manchester United’s failure in landing Bale could give Chelsea reignited hope of signing the former Spurs man.
Morata’s Hint At Possible Exchange
The former Real Madrid hitman believes that Hazard will make way for a potential switch with French forward Karim Benzema. Madrid’s board is reportedly frustrated with the lack of goals from the 30-year-old and will be happy to offload Benzema during the summer in exchange for Hazard. Morata is seemingly aware that he will be reunited with his striking partner Benzema at Chelsea.
I think the best deal for both clubs would be if Hazard replaces Isco at Madrid. It seems a fair deal but I don’t think Benzema would join Chelsea as Olivier Giroud has just joined the Blues. But Chelsea would love Isco because of his hard-work, flair and passing ability on the pitch.
