Henrik Mkhitaryan and Luke Shaw are linked with a move away from Manchester United and the United boss has hinted that he may sell players next month.
The Red Devils boss is prepared to let unhappy players go for the right price in January. Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are linked with moves away from Old Trafford, after they have struggled for game time this season.
Mkhitaryan has not appeared for United since his alleged argument with the boss. It is said that the attacking midfielder was involved in a fight with the team’s manager, after United’s victory over Brighton last month.
The Armenian has scored just one goal in Premier League so far this term. Mourinho said that offers would be considered for the players who want to leave, but the fee needs to be right.
Mourinho said: “I think, for the right price. That’s my approach as a manager, in cases where the club advises me.Every player has a price.
If a player is not happy if a player brings with him the request with the number that we consider a good number for us like it happened with Memphis [Depay] and Morgan [Schneiderlin], I would never say no.”

Mourinho said that he could buy a new defender in January, following Eric Bailly’s injury, which will keep the player out of action, for up to three months. But the boss admitted that he’ll not buy a defender, just for the sake of it.
Mourinho said: “I don’t like the January market just to buy. But if you can buy one you would buy in June or July a few months before, then great.”
Speaking to #MUTV, Jose Mourinho has provided an update on Eric Bailly’s injury: “He goes to surgery, the decision is made. I don’t say [he’s out] for the rest of the season but it’s for the next two or three months.” pic.twitter.com/bsNF33o9So

United are second in the Premier League and face West Brom on Sunday.
Author’s Take-
I will personally say that Mkhitaryan is one of the most important players for United, even though some may disagree with me. However, the player has struggled for form this season. The midfielder can link up well with his teammates, around the penalty box. He can create space for his teammates, which can lead to goals. I think seeing his abilities Mourinho should give him a second chance.
Same is the case with Luke Shaw. The fans were delighted with the player’s performance in United’s victory over Bournemouth on Wednesday. The player should be given regular game time. It’s been a tough spell for the player since he suffered a double leg fracture two seasons ago. But still, after his performance in the victory over Bournemouth, I can say that the player is slowly getting back to his best for the club.
