Despite Manchester United’s flying start to the season, club officials want to replace the manager Jose Mourinho.
According to sensational reports in Spain, Manchester United officials want to sack Jose Mourinho and replace him with former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique.
Luis Enrique to replace Mourinho at Manchester United
Despite the Red Devils’ fine start to the season, all is not well behind the scenes at Old Trafford, according to Don Balon.
Manchester United are doing well under Jose Mourinho compared to last few seasons, but the Manchester United club officials find his tactics negative and hence, are looking to replace him.
The Spanish outlet says the board are frustrated by his negative tactics, highlighted in last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
But United could approach him to take over should Mourinho continue to divide the club’s board.
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old backed his defensive tactics after United’s win over Benfica. United are said to be lining up former Barca boss Luis Enrique as a potential replacement if Mourinho’s tactics continue to divide the club.
Looking at Manchester United’s current squad and their form, they shouldn’t be replacing Jose Mourinho. At this moment they look a strong contender along with the local rivals Manchester City to win the Premier League this season. Luis Enrique may or may not replace him, but it’s not certain yet.
