Mourinho Warns Conte as Premier League is Changing

The Special One has issued a warning for the Tactical One

The warning is not out of competition, but for concern. Recently, Leicester City has sacked their manager Claudio Ranieri, who could not keep them afloat in the English Premier League standings. Mourinho does not want another Italian to suffer a similar fate.

This has become a trend in the English Premier League, where the league winners have been sacking their managers in the following season. There is too much expectation from them, with very little tolerance towards them. League winners are expected to win the league every year, and the failure to do so results in them in being sacked.

Jose Mourinho is the boss of Manchester United this season but was in charge of Chelsea from 2013-14 to the middle of the 2015-16 season. He helped Chelsea to finish 3rd in the 2013-14 season, and led them to their 5th ever top flight victory. But little did he know that he would be sacked the very next season.

Claudio Ranieri suffered a similar fate at Leicester City. After crowning the Foxes as the Champions of England, one would have thought that the club would have faith in him. But the Italian was sacked, as the Foxes lost confidence that they could avoid relegation.

Even Manuel Pellegrini lost his job to Pep Guardiola. Pellegrini was managing Manchester City when they won the 2013-14 Premier League title. The club did not offer him an extension, despite him winning the league for them.

“Everything has changed and I am not afraid to say it. I still want this game. For me, the game is what will happen at 4.30pm on Sunday at Wembley.

Just like everyone around the world, Mourinho to supported Ranieri. He said, “What Claudio did at Leicester was bigger than my three titles for Chelsea combined.”
