On Sunday night, the New York Knicks upset the Los Angeles Lakers 112-108, putting a stop to the Lakers’ streak of three consecutive victories. After the unexpected defeat, Anthony Davis came forward to take complete responsibility for the setback.

He stated that it was his fault that Los Angeles was unable to win the game on their home court. When Dennis Schroder found out about AD’s confession, the veteran security guard did not take the news well.

Schroder did not assign Anthony Davis responsibility for the project. According to Schroder, not a single person on the Lakers roster is exempt from guilt for this loss:

According to tweets from Spectrum SportsNet, Schroder was quoted as saying, “It’s everyone in this locker room.” Everyone is responsible for that. When we fail as a team, the entire group is disadvantaged, but when we succeed, everybody benefits.

Anthony Davis had a really good game against the Knicks, as evidenced by the fact that he recorded a double-double consisting of 17 points and 16 rebounds.

However, the Lakers big man had abysmal free throw shooting percentages, making just one of five attempts from the charity stripe.

Despite the fact that Schroder believes that missed free throws are a natural part of the game, he is more concerned with the positive aspects of Anthony Davis’s performance.

The Lakers are still fighting for a spot in the playoffs for the Western Conference, so their loss was obviously discouraging for them. They will need to swiftly pick themselves up in order to compete on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, who share the same record as they do at this point.

If Los Angeles Lakers wants to earn a spot in the play-in round, they will need all of their players, including Anthony Davis, Dennis Schroder, and the rest of the squad, to perform at their absolute best in the upcoming game.
