The Chicago Bulls’ relationship with Derrick Rose was unpredictable. In the 2008 NBA draft, he was chosen first overall. Rose enthralled the public with an outstanding debut year.

Unfortunately, things started to go south. In the first round of the 2012 playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers, Rose tore his ACL. He didn’t play a single game in 2012–2013. After the injury, his career was never the same.
He started playing again in the 2013–14 campaign. In November 2013, he had a right meniscus injury after just 10 games. He missed the balance of the 2013–14 campaign due to the injury. The discontent among Bulls supporters grew. Some people believed he would get well. Others wanted the team to deal with him.

Rose had a running argument with a Chicago reporter, as he revealed in a recent interview. He is still bothered by it today.
“He was asking bizarre questions, and I could tell. I’m not looking at him, yet every day he asks me absurd questions. He has gone so far that other media professionals would mock him. They are aware that whatever he is about to say is going to be completely insane. He had to say sorry. Before he resigned and left the Chicago newspaper, [he] penned an article.”
He continued: “In order to clear his mind of it, he had to put that set out in an essay. He was assaulting my relatives. calling me an idiot like saying, ‘Bro, personal st.’ Journalists shouldn’t be covering basketball like that. While he is hitting me, nobody is making any noise.”
Derrick Rose also discussed a crucial discussion he had with the Bulls’ management. Regarding some of the decisions the franchise had taken, he voiced his view. Rose thinks that he was traded as a direct result of this.
