After dropping their first two games of their three-game road trip, the Golden State Warriors traveled to Memphis to beat the Grizzlies despite not having Ja Morant on their roster. Even though Stephen Curry had a 29/7/4 performance, the squad led by Taylor Jenkins was still victorious with a score of 131-110.
After their matchup in the second round of the playoffs in 2022, every game between the Grizzlies and the Warriors will be a thrilling one going forward. It was the same with this one. With Draymond Green and Dillon Brooks going at it on almost every play, the game lived up to everyone’s expectations of how exciting it would be.
Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green had been going back and forth with insults to one another for a good number of weeks. As everyone had predicted, the two did not even make an effort to contain their affection for one another.
Draymond Green addressed the fact that the Grizzlies forward tried to bait him into incurring a 16th technical violation in addition to all of the other garbage that was said. In his response, Green focused on the fact that the Grizzlies forward tried to bait him.
Late in the second quarter of the game, Dillon made a difficult layup over the player who had been named Defensive Player of the Year before. After scoring, the 27-year-old collided with Draymond Green and shouted at him immediately afterward.

Draymond Green Said, “Dillion Brooks Hoped He Would Bait Me”

Green said that the difference between him and Dillon was that one of them would be tricked into committing a technical foul tonight, saving him from a one-game suspension.
During the postgame interview, the winner of four consecutive titles added: He believed that I would also bait him if he baited me. I am granted a technical foul whenever I put in a request for one. I don’t take the bait when it comes to technical fouls. As a result, I think that this is probably how he and I are different from one another. If I were to do that to him, he would respond, which would make it a double technical. Yet, because I did not respond, it is not a double technical. One of us can be led astray by enticements, but not the other. To some extent, things do function in this manner.

The Golden State Warriors are currently in sixth place in the Western Conference with a record of 34-33. Draymond Green will need to pick it up as the regular season concludes to assist Stephen Curry in climbing the standings and securing a berth in the playoffs for their team.
