Kawhi Leonard, a standout player for the Los Angeles Clippers, returned home to Toronto on Tuesday night. Leonard’s post-game collaboration with Drake, a recording artist and producer, suggests that the former Toronto Raptors player is still well-liked in the community.
Most people agree that Kawhi Leonard is one of the NBA’s top two-way players. Kawhi Leonard continues to be one of the most reliable talents when he is on the court, despite losing time with the Los Angeles Clippers due to injuries.
Kawhi Leonard first gained notoriety while playing for the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs forward developed a persona while playing for Gregg Popovich and with the three of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili.
But it wasn’t until after his time with the Toronto Raptors that the forward started to be referred to as one of the finest in the business.

Some of the most iconic events in NBA and team history occurred during Leonard’s time in Toronto. Kawhi Leonard has given Toronto some priceless moments, from the no-look steal early in the regular season to the amazing buzzer-beater in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The one trophy the Toronto Raptors have in their trophy case, though, has to be his greatest contribution to the team. Kawhi Leonard cemented his status as a great with Toronto by winning the championship following a thrilling 4-2 victory against the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 Finals.
Kawhi’s time with the Raptors unfortunately ended quickly and brightly. Leonard spent just one season in Toronto before joining the Los Angeles Clippers and moving to the sunny state of California. Kawhi has forged a new route for himself by forming the superstar combination of the Los Angeles Clippers with Paul George.
