The Conference Finals have only gotten stranger. Read the article for this NBA News.
Due to a strong rainstorm outside the building, it was physically raining inside American Airlines Center, causing a delay before the start of the second half.
Then one of Draymond Green‘s free shots got trapped behind the rim (as shown above). Something we don’t believe we’ve ever seen before.
But the most important thing is that we still have four teams in contention for the title after the Mavs beat the Cavs in Game 4 on Tuesday. We would have said “easily” took care of them before the fourth quarter started.

The Dallas Mavericks overcame the Golden State Warriors 119-109 on Tuesday night to avoid being swept in the Western Conference finals. Luka Doncic scored 30 points and 14 rebounds.
Doncic posted his 10th double-double in 14 postseason games, along with nine assists and some aid from his supporting cast in extending this series. In Game 3, he scored 40 points despite Reggie Bullock’s 0 for 10 shooting and seven 3-point misses.
Dorian Finney-Smith had 23 points. Brunson scored 15 points. The Mavericks made 20 of 43 3-point attempts.
The Warriors’ nine-game winning streak in Western Conference finals games came to an end with the setback, but they remain in command of the series heading back to California for Game 5 on Thursday night.
Stephen Curry finished with 20 points and made his first appearance in the fourth quarter with 3:22 left after the Warriors had trimmed a 29-point lead to 110-102. Even with Curry and the other starters back on the court, they couldn’t get any closer.
Bullock scored his sixth 3-pointer after Doncic drove for a slam.
No NBA team has ever won a series after falling behind 3-0. Only three of the 146 teams that have found themselves in that situation have been able to force a seventh game.
The Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga had 17 points and Andrew Wiggins had 13 points, with seven players scoring in double figures.
Rain seeping through the roof at American Airlines Center caused a 16-minute delay in the start of the second half. Outside, it was raining heavily, and there were at least two leaks. One was throwing water near the Golden State bench, while water looked to be falling in the bleachers at the other end of the court.
