Milwaukee Bucks bag their 14th straight win which came against Pheonix Suns with a scoreline of 104-101. Giannis Antetokounmpo was expected to miss the first game after the all-star break with a right quad contusion. However, the Milwaukee Bucks had feared he may miss the start of the stretch run due to a sprained right wrist.
However, the Bucks maintained winning on Sunday at Fiserv Forum. They defeated the Phoenix Suns 104-101 for their 14th straight triumph and an increase in the record to 43-17. In team history, it is tied for the fourth-longest streak. The Suns’ record fell to 33–29.
“In the big scheme of things, merely the winning streak is difficult”, explained Khris Middleton. “But sure, winning games. That, in my opinion, is the main focus. Just winning, positioning ourselves to be in the best possible position for the playoffs. And trying to play our best basketball at those times.”
With Holiday, Middleton, Crowder, Ingles, and Brook Lopez in the lineup as the game came to a close, the Bucks went up 100-98. Lopez made a crucial block, and a crucial free throw, and he bowed out Suns big Deandre Ayton. Holiday added a crucial three-pointer.

The Bucks appeared to have changed their typical game-day protocol as the two teams slogged through a noon start on Sunday, while the Suns appeared to have had a brief practice Saturday afternoon following a late start (9 p.m. CT).
It may not have come as a surprise that the game came down to the closing seconds given that there was a total of 42 personal fouls assessed and neither side shot the ball well (43.7% for Milwaukee and 42.1% for Phoenix).
The game lacked any real rhythm, especially in the second quarter following a drawn-out video review of an off-ball foul on Jevon Carter that led to a solitary free throw. In the first three minutes, there were a total of 17 missed shots, five personal fouls, and a technical foul against Grayson Allen.
Milwaukee Bucks were then called for four fouls in less than a minute after the third quarter, three of which were against Middleton. In the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, Phoenix Suns went on a 14-2 run to grab an 83-77 lead. During that period, the Bucks also went nearly three and a half minutes without scoring.
