The NBA is a league filled with talented people who have worked hard to reach their current positions. There are approximately 450 players in the NBA at any given moment. Although there are always 60 new players recruited into the league, the overall total does not change.
This illustrates how difficult it is to succeed in the NBA, despite the fact that just making it there is a big accomplishment in and of itself. Paul George recently discussed a mistake he committed in 2019–20.
When players enter the NBA, the seasoned pros frequently have a good view of the younger talent and may predict their futures. In Jordan Poole’s debut season in the league, Paul George believed he handled things similarly. Yet he couldn’t have been more mistaken.
Paul George acknowledges he misjudged Jordan Poole. In the 2019 NBA Draft, Jordan Poole was picked with the number 28 pick. The worst time could have existed for a new rookie to join the team. Stephen Curry broke his hand four games into the season, the Dubs had just lost KD, and Klay Thompson was done for the year. Poole averaged 8.8 points on 33.3% field-goal shooting in his first season.
It is clear why Paul George was underwhelmed by what he saw. Poole has since turned a switch, though. He began to show remarkable promise in his second year and sought to support Stephanie without Klay. Although He was a crucial member of the Warriors’ playoff lineup the previous season. He is scoring more points per game and contributing in a much more significant way this season.
PG apologized to Poole for the same incident and then remarked, “It’s three of them now?!” in reference to Steph, Klay, and Poole.

It’s wonderful to see Poole receiving the respect he deserves. Jordan has been able to establish his own name and identity while playing with one of the best backcourts in NBA history.

After a rocky season, the Warriors are the fifth seed in the West. They have fought their way back and are attempting to maintain or enhance this seeding. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have carried the scoring burden while Andrew Wiggins is absent due to family obligations.
While Donte DiVincenzo has filled the immediate defensive deficit, Jordan Poole is needed to fill the scoring shortfall. He already directs the offense for the second unit off the bench.
The bench does well when Poole is performing well. Poole must perform well for the Dubs to have a chance at making the playoffs, especially on their upcoming road trip.
