Shaquille O’Neal was once considered to be one of the most dominant players in the game. He was one of the game’s most lethal centers due to his quickness, brutal power, otherworldly stature, and perfectly honed talents all at the same time.
Shaquille O’Neal always appeared to be lacking something. He did not devote himself to the sport to the same extent as Kobe Bryant. During the period when Bryant and O’Neal were teammates, they were known to argue frequently about Bryant’s perceived lack of effort.
Notwithstanding the possibility that O’Neal was an anomaly in nature, Bryant was molded by the unwavering determination that he displayed throughout his career.
Shaquille O’Neal previously did not give a hoot about Kobe Bryant or his coaches, but now it seems that he has suddenly come to understand what Kobe meant all those years ago. He shared a video in which MMA champion Conor McGregor discussed how one must embrace a certain level of insanity and obsession in order to achieve success in the sport.
On his Instagram account, Shaquille O’Neal shared a video in which Conor McGregor talked about how much his career consumed his life. The film includes a piece of McGregor’s private talk with Gareth A. Davies.
In the particular section that O’Neal cited, Connor is quoted as asserting that in order for one’s skill to be truly good, the practitioner in question needs to be a little bit mad and obsessed.

Shaquille O’Neal Shared a Video of Conor McGregor in his IG Account

Conor McGregor says, “I feel that in order to reach the pinnacle of any game, you need to be a little bit relentless in all that you do.” There are some of you who are not here. You need to have an almost obsessive level of dedication to your craft. It is something that many people have trouble understanding. As a consequence of this, I am oblivious to everything else. I don’t let my mind wander to other topics.
It’s incredible how similar this is to Kobe Bryant’s entire journey to become a great player. It is really encouraging to see that Shaquille O’Neal now shares Bryant’s viewpoint, as this has been a subject of contention between the two of them. Even Kobe admitted that Shaq’s career was not nearly as successful as it could have been.
Kobe Bryant has famously speculated that Shaq could have been the best player in the history of the sport.
Throughout the course of an interview, David questioned Kobe Bryant about Shaq’s commitment to his work. Kobe says that if Shaq had played longer, he would have been the best player of all time. Bryant believes that O’Neal’s work ethic would have allowed him to amass a total of 12 championships.
According to Bryant, “he’d be the finest of all time.” That is something he would be the first to admit. To tell you the truth, this individual possessed more power than any other I’ve ever encountered. It was ridiculous. Men of that stature have a propensity to be somewhat tentative and to avoid being very huge.
This person didn’t give a damn about anything. He was disagreeable as well as cruel. He had a vindictive and competitive spirit. I’d much rather that he was working out at the gym. I would have been the proud owner of 12 f***ing rings.
