Recently, a well-known comedian got into serious problems over a certain joke. One of the top stand-up comedians in the industry is probably Aries Spears. But the 47-year-old’s joke immediately gave way to horror. Notably, the Grammy-winning diva Lizzo was mocked by the American comedian.

He received significant criticism after Spears made a remark about Lizzo’s physique. Fans complained that his use of comedy was body-shaming and expressed their displeasure. Later, he apologised for his remarks and only had kind things to say about Lizzo.

Shaquille O’Neal also agreed with Spears in the debate during a recent podcast. The four-time NBA champion, an avid fan of comedy, thought Spears’ remarks were just a joke.

In the Lizzo debate, Shaquille O’Neal sided with Aries Spears. When Nischelle Turner accused Spears of fat shaming, Shaq sighed at his co-host. Shaq enjoys a good chuckle, and it appears that comedians are some of his favourite people.

For Shaq, the comic fulfilled his job of making people laugh when it came to Spears. Instead, the legendary Los Angeles Lakers player accused people of being overly sensitive and creating a big deal out of nothing. In addition, he requests that they respect the comedian’s privacy.

“You sensitive people can’t pick and choose when you want to be sensitive,” the NBA Hall of Famer stated. That’s all I have to say. Leave Dave Chapelle, Corey Holcomb, and Aries Spears alone; that dude is a comedian.

Numerous responses have been generated by the dispute between Spears and Lizzo. Shaq, however, was adamant in his stance. He also has the temperament to take a joke in stride. Notably, their comical friendship with Charles Barkley has never failed to make people chuckle over the years.

Notably, Shaq’s co-host frequently avoids even using his name. Instead, Barkley scolds him, calling him a fat a** and even making comments about his kids. Shaq, however, recognises the humour and frequently laughs the loudest throughout the entire set.
