Shaquille O’Neal is not a particularly aggressive person on the inside. The epitome of a “gentle giant,” Kevin Garnett famously claimed that the NBA was fortunate to have had Shaquille O’Neal’s parents raise him well.
If he weren’t, players all over the league would be in terrible shape if they had to face a dishonest Shaquille O’Neal. While O’Neal didn’t enter the arena in a sour mood and typically appeared to be enjoying himself while crushing his opponents, he could also unleash a significant amount of aggression.
While playing in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal got into a lot of scrapes and fights, which resulted in a number of technical fouls, penalties, and even suspensions.
The majority of people remember his battle with Charles Barkley during a Lakers-Rockets game in 1999 because he currently co-hosts “Inside the NBA” with him and has done so for more than ten years. There was not a lot of competition for Shaq in the league during his prime since there was a lack of talent at the centre position. One of several centres who had to contend with “The Big Aristotle” was Brad Miller of the Bulls, and it’s safe to say that he struggled mightily.
In a game between the Lakers and the Bulls on January 12, 2002, Shaquille O’Neal and Reggie Miller got into an altercation with fewer than three minutes remaining in a game that was within three points. The benches on both sides cleared as they spilled into the stands in an attempt to break up the altercation.
They would both be dismissed from the contest, resulting in a 106-104 Bulls victory in overtime. Shaq received a three-game suspension and a $15,000 fine as a result of the incident, while Brad Miller received a one-game suspension.

Funny enough, Charles Oakley’s participation in the altercation resulted in a two-game suspension.
Despite being a humorous person, Shaquille O’Neal has experienced quite a few heated situations on the NBA court during the course of his career.
He’s engaged in a wide range of altercations with Dennis Rodman, including trying to swing at Andrew Bynum while wearing a Heat jersey.
Naturally, he has also received technical fouls, fines, and suspensions for his acts, but they didn’t deter him from picking up additional fights later on.
