NBA news: Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha talk about their “About Last Night” celebrity couple game show.
Steph Curry is stepping out of his comfort zone to join his wife Ayesha in the entertainment world. The Currys are the new hosts of ‘About Last Night,’ a new game show on HBO Max.
NBA Star Steph and Ayesha shared their experience hosting their own program in an interview with NBC News. Ayesha has already presented a number of food shows, so it was nothing new for her. It was unusual, though, because her spouse was involved, as were other famous couples.
“I think we learned just how similar relationships are,” Ayesha Curry said in a recent interview. “It was nice to have those moments where you think you’re doing something wrong or, like, something’s weird about yourselves and everybody’s like, ‘No, we do that, too.’ It was also really cool to have the reassurance that we know each other really well.”
Steph Curry was delighted with his wife’s performance on their new game show. He quipped that he had it easy since all he had to do was crack jokes, make people laugh, and get the visitors intoxicated.
“I learned how great of a host she is. She was nervous and anxious about filling that role, but she made everyone feel comfortable, right at home. I had the easy job of bringing some fun and comedy, obviously pouring some drinks,” Curry said.
The first season of “About Last Night” will consist of eight episodes, each featuring three famous couples as guests. The Currys will be among the guests who will participate in uncensored relationship quizzes and activities.
NBA news: In the Golden State Warriors’ defeat to the Utah Jazz, Steph Curry scored 16 points
The Utah Jazz ended the Golden State Warriors’ nine-game winning run on Wednesday night. Against the stout Jazz defense, the Warriors were unable to get their offense going. Golden State as a team shot just 35.9% from the field.
Steph Curry only scored 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Due to the team’s back-to-back schedule, he was without his Splash Brother Klay Thompson, who was resting. Thompson was replaced by Jordan Poole, who scored 18 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out three assists.
Draymond Green, who is projected to be sidelined until the All-Star break due to a back ailment, was also absent for the Warriors. Meanwhile, the Jazz proved their naysayers wrong by finally registering a statement win when Rudy Gobert was out for an extended period of time.
Against the Warriors, Hassan Whiteside had seven blocks, with Bojan Bogdanovic leading the way on the offensive end. Bogdanovic finished with 23 points, while Donovan Mitchell chipped in with 14.
On Thursday night, Steph Curry and the Warriors will host the New York Knicks at Oracle Arena. On February 12, they will play the struggling Los Angeles Lakers.
