NBA News: Nets star Kevin Durant and Warriors icon Steph Curry lead their respective conferences in All-Star votes.

NBA News: Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant and Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry lead their respective conferences in All-Star votes.

As the NBA All-Star 2022 voting has begun, KD and Curry have received the highest votes so far. The voting began on Christmas day last year.

The voting period is open till 20th Jan but certain players have already way ahead of others.

Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets is the highest vote receiver from the East with 2,360,435. While the Warriors guard Steph Curry has the highest votes this season 2,584,623.

Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James and Milwaukee Bucks powerhouse Giannis Antetokounmpo both have more than 2 million votes. While the reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic has more than a million so does, Paul George, Joel Embiid and DeMar DeRozan.

Klay Thompson of the Warriors, despite not playing in a single game this season has received 367,743 votes. His return is one of the most anticipated events this season. Thompson is expected to make a return to the Warriors roster anytime this campaign,

LaMelo Ball might be making his first All-star appearance this year. He has received 422,247 votes so far. While the 2019 rookie of the year winner Ja Morant has received 669,033 votes. Andrew Wiggins will be making his first All-star appearance. He has been a core contributor to the Warriors this season.

The Golden State, Nets, and Lakers each have four players making the All-start team this season. For the Warriors, Wiggins, Green, Curry, and Thompson. Lakers have James, Davis, Anthony, and Westbrook. While Nets have KD, Aldridge, Harden, and Irving.
