Steph Curry’s comeback date was given by Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr. On the road against the San Antonio Spurs, Kerr disclosed that the Warriors are eyeing January 13th as their comeback date. Kerr stated the following (via NBC Sports):
Kerr affirmed Steph Curry’s comeback date of January 13 by saying, “I think so. He has made great progress; there have been no setbacks. Every day, he enters the court and performs more and more. We are thus confident that he will return shortly maybe next week.”
Due to a shoulder injury, he acquired on December 14 against the Indiana Pacers, Steph Curry has missed the previous 10 games.
Golden State Warriors are now back above the.500 mark after going 6-4 during that time. However, all five of those victories have occurred at home, where they have an overall record of 17-3. Their road problems haven’t improved; this season, they have a 3-16 record away from home.

With or without Steph Curry, the difference has persisted. But before becoming hurt, he was the team’s most dependable and steady player. That’s altered. Steph Curry’s replacements have been Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and the rest of the team.
The Golden State Warriors are at a pivotal point as a result of Steph Curry’s comeback
Despite Steph Curry’s recent 10-game absence, the Golden State Warriors have a winning record.
However, the Warriors have had to struggle and scratch their way to victories, with the exception of their 123-109 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Christmas Day at home.
In their most recent home game against the Detroit Pistons, which resulted in a defeat of 122-119 thanks to Saddiq Bey’s buzzer-beater, they ran out of gas. The Warriors won’t be able to hold the line without Steph Curry despite the rest of the team contributing.
A player that averages 30 points every game is difficult to replace. Since Curry’s absence, only Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have been able to average 25+ points each game.
Only Donte DiVincenzo and Ty Jerome have averaged double-digit scorers, and neither player has averaged more than 10 PPG.
The Warriors benefit from Steph Curry’s simple presence on the field. The Dubs may recapture their magic from last season and surge ahead in the Western Conference rankings once Curry returns, especially with the way the rest of the team has improved over the previous few games.
