Stephen Curry Injury Update: “I’m Still a Long Way From Holding up a Basketball”

The Golden State Warriors embarked on a journey in order to arrive in New York. Tonight, they will take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, and tomorrow, they will play the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. The fact that Stephen Curry is unable to participate in these games because of an injury makes them significantly more challenging than they should be.

The Warriors have been able to play well enough without Stephen Curry to earn draws in both of their games so far. However, it would appear that the game we play tonight could tip the scales in the direction of a loss.

In addition to Andrew Wiggins, Jayson Tatum, and Donte DiVincenzo, Stephen Curry will not be available for tonight’s game for the Denver Nuggets (Dubs). Jordan Poole appears to be the only scorer who is still fighting while the rest of the scorers are having trouble from the field.

The last time Steph played in Madison Square Garden, he ended up shattering the 3-point record for the NBA. But there was nothing he could do about it this time; all he could do was watch from the bench while the Warriors battled it out on the court.

The Warriors will take on Kevin Durant and the Nets tomorrow before flying back to California to prepare for their Christmas Day matchup against Ja Morant and the Grizzlies.

Both competitions are being watched with great interest. During the halftime break, questions were asked of Stephen Curry regarding the same topic, but he did not provide any specific updates.

According to Steph, it’s possible that his recovery will take much longer than the three to four weeks that had been projected in the beginning. However, it is important to keep in mind that his injury has only been a week since it occurred and that the initial pain is the most challenging phase of therapy for shoulder subluxation.

The men who are now on the court are going to have a much more difficult time now that Andrew Wiggins and some of the other players are injured. In addition, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green need to step up, given that they have not done so in the last two contests.

Fans of the team can continue to maintain the belief that their squad will somehow remain competitive until Stephen Curry’s return, at which point they will be able to make one more push for a postseason berth.
