“I’m Just Getting Old”: Stephen Curry turns IRONIC after bulldozing Bucks, mocks turning 35

CRICKEX

The Golden State Warriors have illustrated the significant gap in performance once again that exists between their home and away performances. They went on the road after winning five straight games at home, and even with Stephen Curry back in the lineup, they still managed to lose three games in a row.

Their first game back at home was against the Milwaukee Bucks, who are currently ranked first in the NBA, and they came out on top 125-116 after overtime. It had been more than a month since Stephen Curry had played at Oracle Arena, and he started off the game in stunning fashion.

After scoring only 14 points during the first three quarters of the game, Steph went on a scoring tear in the fourth quarter and overtime, contributing 22 points to help the Warriors come away with the win.

The game ended with Steph having scored 36 points, grabbing six rebounds, dishing out four assists, stealing two balls, and blocking one shot. Stephen Curry looked like he was exhausted after the game. When he was questioned about it, he responded with a joke about it.

Tonight, we were treated to a masterclass given by Steph. After falling behind by eight points with under two minutes left to play, the Warriors went on a run, scoring eight points while their opponent scored none. Jrue Holiday interrupted everyone’s fun with a critical three-point shot that he made with thirty seconds left on the clock.

Stephen Curry was able to block Jrue Holiday’s effort at a shot as he drove towards the basket. After being away from Chase for almost a month, Steph returned for his first game there and played 43 minutes, leaving the fans with something to look forward to. When Lisa Salters approached him for an interview after the game, he had just a little bit of gasoline left in his tank.

The response that Steph gave was, “Yes, I’m doing fantastic. When she inquired with him over the same topic It’s just that I’m getting older.” How are you able to lead your team while still offering humor? Stephen Curry is constantly preparing new dishes, dude.

The Warriors are currently the sixth-seeded team in the Western Conference, one-half game behind the LA Clippers, who are the fifth-seeded team. Despite this, they only have a one-game lead over the Mavericks and the Timberwolves, who are the seventh and eighth seeds, respectively.

The current champions will face a challenging schedule over the remaining 14 contests of the season. The fact that eight of the remaining 14 games are going to be played away from home represents the most significant barrier in their way. If the Golden State Warriors want to move up to the fifth seed or keep their current seeding of sixth, they are going to have to find a way to win away from home. Stephen Curry is positive that they will be successful. At this point, there is nothing else we can do besides watch and wait to see what develops.
