Utah will host the NBA All-Star Game once again. In 2023, Salt Lake City will host the NBA All-Star Game for the first time in 30 years. It marks the 30th anniversary of Utah hosting the game.
The Jazz announced the logo for the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities in 2023. The logo includes the “J-note” logo and a mountain range.
The West defeated the East 135-132 in overtime in the 1993 All-Star Game. And John Stockton and Karl Malone were awarded co-MVPs. Stockton scored nine points and 15 assists, while Malone had 28 points and 10 rebounds.
The logo’s black, white, and yellow colors match Jazz’s alleged black, white, and yellow redesign. Which they’ve been quietly rolling out on social media and at Vivint Arena this season.

Vivint Arena will host the 2023 All-Star Weekend from February 17 to 19. The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Rising Stars game will take place on Friday. The Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest will take place on Saturday. And the All-Star Game will take place on Sunday.
The Jazz unveiled the logo for the 2023 game, which will be held in Utah, during NBA All-Star weekend in Cleveland. The Jazz Note logo sits alongside a mountain peak adjacent to the word Utah in the new design, which is set in the team’s changing color palette of black, white, and yellow.
The team created a video featuring all 30 All-Star Weekend logos dating back to the event’s final appearance in Salt Lake City. Jazz owner Ryan Smith teased the logo emblazoned on an official Wilson basketball on Twitter during Sunday’s All-Star Game in Cleveland.
“We’re going to go across Utah from Salt Lake to Park City,” Smith stated during the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse broadcast on Sunday. “Come for the full week, not just a few of days.” Rudy and Donovan are the hosts. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The 2023 games were awarded to the Jazz in 2019, while the franchise was still owned by the Miller family. Under the Millers’ leadership, Vivint Arena had a $125 million refurbishment in 2016, which helped them land the star-studded weekend.
Both Sacramento and Milwaukee submitted bids for the 2023 All-Star Weekend, which former Governor Gary Herbert estimates would bring $45-50 million in economic effect for the state.
