Netherlands were coming into this series after losing against New Zealand in a two match T20 series in the first week of August. They lost the first T20 match by 16 runs.
New Zealand sealed the two match T20 series by beating the Netherlands in the second match by eight wickets. Pakistan are coming into this series after drawing against Sri Lanka in the two match test series in July.
The men in green went on to win the first match by four wickets against Sri Lanka. However, the hosts made a comeback in the second match as they beat Pakistan by 246 runs to level the test series.
Bas de Leede scored a half century against New Zealand in the second T20 match. He scored 53 runs from 48 balls with a strike rate of 110.42.
Abdullah Shafique went on to win the man of the match award in the first test match against Sri Lanka. He scored 13 runs in the first innings and 160 runs in the second innings.

The men in green started their Netherlands tour with a win in the first ODI match. Pakistan successfully defended 314 runs and won the game by 16 runs. But Netherlands managed to score 298 runs.
A wasp went on to sting Fakhar Zaman while he was batting at the crease. The incident happened suddenly as Fakhar Zaman couldn’t react quick enough.
