Newcastle United news: The Magpies are close to signing Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.

Isak is currently among the most talented attackers in Europe. He joined the La Liga club from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window of 2019.

Both clubs are now discussing add-ons to conclude the deal before deadline day. The fee is expected to eclipse the £40 million the Toons paid to sign Joelinton from Ajax, making the Swedish the club’s record signing.
