Neymar has made several demands from Florentino Perez that need to be satisfied for him to consider a move back to Spain
The effects of Neymar’s €222 million are still felt throughout the transfer market. His world-shattering transfer to the uber-rich Paris Saint-Germain was expected to send Barcelona in a downward spiral. The Blaugrana, however, has had an incredible six months post Neymar’s departure. Barcelona will usurp Real Madrid as the Spanish Champions in all certainty with their blood rivals experiencing several difficulties in the current campaign.
With the La Liga virtually gone, Champions League glory is Madrid’s only chance of making this season a success. They, however, face an uphill battle as they face PSG in the the round of 16 tie. Irrespective of the result, Madrid are looking to bring in their biggest star man, Neymar.
The Brazilian has sent encouraging signs to Perez and co, never once refusing a prospective move to the Bernabeu. Now, Don Balon is reporting Neymar has sent a list of demands that he wants Florentino Perez to fulfil so as to even consider a move to Real.
Neymar’s surprising demands include departures of Ronaldo, Bale and Zidane..!!!
The 25-year-old left Barcelona to step out of Lionel Messi’s shadow and would not want to step in Cristiano’s just a year later. Consequently, he has persisted Perez to let go of the 32-year-old. Fortunately for him, Ronaldo’s days at Real already seem numbered. The 5 time Ballon d’Or has been unsettled in Madrid for a while now due to legal and monetary issues and will move if a lucrative offer presents itself.
Gareth Bale, on the other hand, has the ability to be Real Madrid’s main man if only he could stay fit for a run of games. It is said that the Real Madrid President has become fed up with Bale’s injury issues. He will let the Welshman go if he can recoup most of the money he spent on him in the first place. Express has reported of Jose Mourinho’s interest in Bale several times.
The third name on Neymar’s list of people who he wants Perez to let go is the most surprising one, being none other than Zinedine Zidane. Neymar believes that Zidane is not the right man under whom he wants to continue his developments. Although, the Brazilian has not suggested anyone to succeed the Frenchman.
Zidane has guided Madrid to successive Champions League title but is now facing the sack after these wretched past six months. He even opened up about how he could be sacked any time with the contract equating to nothing in today’s world. “I go match by match, year by year, like last year. I cannot look two or three years ahead because having the contract does not mean anything.”
Shocking demands indeed from Neymar. However, none of his demands is out of the realm of possibility. Had he made the same demands six months back, none would have happened. Now that Ronaldo’s experiencing a substandard period in front of goal and Zidane not being able to inspire his team back to winning ways, Perez might actually think of fulfiling Neymar’s conditions. It’ll be interesting to see how this saga unfolds over the next 6 to 18 months.
