PAK vs AUS: Adam Zampa has been one of the crucial parts of the Australian cricket team over the last few years. Notably, he was also Australia’s key player in their maiden T20 World Cup glory in the United Arab Emirates in November last year.
Australian cricket team got the better of the New Zealand cricket team in a one-sided contest. Aussies breezed through the final with ease as they won their first T20 World Cup in their history.
Australia have been in top form across formats of late. Aussies inflicted a 4-0 humiliation on the England cricket team in the Ashes Test series. They are currently in Pakistan gearing up for the limited-overs challenge.
In fact, they recently won the Test series against Pakistan. Aussies won the Test series by 1-0 under the captaincy of Pat Cummins. Earlier, the first two Tests between both teams ended in a draw.
They will be playing three ODIs and a solitary T20I against the Green Shirts. On top of that, Aussies have another tough task on hand this year. The T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held later this year in October-November in Australia.
Aussies will be looking forward to defending their title. They were the champions of the last edition as they got the better of the New Zealand cricket team in a one-sided encounter.

PAK vs AUS: Adam Zampa is least worried about losing rhythm due to long Break
No team in the history of the sport have won back-to-back titles in T20 World Cup history. However, the Aussies have a great chance of doing it as they will look to defend the title this time.
Meanwhile, spinner Adam Zampa is pretty much confident that a three-month-long break will not break his confidence or momentum by any means in the build-up to the marquee event.
Zampa’s wife is due to give birth in June. As a result, he would not be available for the all-format tour of Sri Lanka. It is slated to be held in June-July. Australia are due to lock horns with Sri Lanka in 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 3 Tests.
“It’s pretty rare for a cricketer these days to get three months off, so I’m really going to make the most of it”, said leggie Adam Zampa while speaking to ESPNcricinfo.
“Potentially the next game of cricket that I’ll have is the 100-ball competition [starting in August], and then we’ve got a lot of cricket after that. I sat down with [selector] George Bailey yesterday and there’s potentially 15 games of cricket for me before the World Cup”, he added.
Australia will take on Pakistan in the first of the three-match ODI series. The first ODI will kick off on March 29, Tuesday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan will be looking to avenge the Test series defeat on Australia in the ODI series.
