Abdullah’s stellar performances drew praises from his skipper Babar Azam. The Pakistan captain further added that he enjoys watching Abdullah’s style of batting.
At the same time, he remarked that they compare the youngster to the likes of Kane Williamson and Rahul Dravid. He said, they call him “Dravid”. “I watch and definitely enjoy Abdullah’s stylish batting.
“He plays very clean his stance and the way he ducks the ball are impressive. Usually, we compare him to Kane Williamson and Rahul Dravid. We call him Dravid,” Babar Azam told a local newspaper.
Babar Azam will skipper the 16-man squad whereas the spin bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan is back to serve as a the vice-captain. Earlier, Shadab Khan missed the white-ball series versus Australia in April due to injury.
As many as five players who were part of the Australia ODIs are not included in the upcoming series. Moreover, the series won’t be played under any restrictions of the bio-bubble environment.
