Brazilian winger Lucas Moura will move to the Chinese Super League despite interest from several European clubs
Lucas Moura has just made five substitute appearances this season for Paris St Germain following the big-money arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbbape from Barcelona and Monaco respectively.
The 25-year-old was a prime target for the English clubs Arsenal and Chelsea. However, he agreed to terms with the Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan. The Spaniard Unai Emery has deemed the Brazilian surplus in his second season as the coach for the French side.

Chelsea had reportedly identified the winger as a replacement for another Willian. Reports suggested that Antonio Conte is letting the Brazilian leave. Arsenal too was said to be monitoring the ex-Sao Paulo star, who was asked by his friend and former teammate Alex while Liverpool also emerged as a shock target.
Premier League clubs miss out on the Brazilian
As things stand currently, all three Premier League clubs looks set to miss out on signing the Brazilian. According to reports on Goal, Lucas has already agreed on a lucrative move to the CSL. He has chosen to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Hulk, Oscar and Alexandre Pato.
The Chinese Football Association has attempted to cut short on huge money spending by bringing in new sanctions in place. Beijing Guoan, however, is said to be exploring ways of making sure that the deal stays in place.

Author’s take:
It is a win-win for both the clubs, as Paris St Germain have plenty of wingers in the dressing room. While Neymar and Kylian Mbappe starts on the wing, Unai Emery has the options of choosing Angel di Maria and Julian Draxler in the playing XI. Julian Draxler, on the other hand, has proved his worth under the tutelage of the Spaniard Emery. While Draxler is still an option for the Parisians, Lucas is set to start in the playing XI when he signs for his new club.
