That victory took Roma to the top of the Serie A table. Mourinho’s side has played four games and has 10 points. They won three matches and drew one. The only game they could not secure a win came against Juventus, who they played out a 1-1 draw with.

“He has a history of injuries, but he’s improving now,” Mourinho told DAZN, as quoted by Goal.

“I think this is a sign of what is to come in Qatar for the World Cup. Maybe [Argentina boss] Lionel Scaloni should send me a few bottles of wine because he’s going to have a fantastic player at his disposal.”

Paulo Dybala joined Roma in the summer transfer window after his contract with Juventus expired. He has signed a three-year contract with the Serie A side.
