Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has now commenced preparing for the next summer transfer window. He has classified the on-loan Real Madrid star as an alteration target for the next summer.
Currently, at Arsenal, Dani Ceballos is now Pep Guardiola’s target who seems to have been fascinated by the Spanish midfielder’s performances so far in the Premier League. Arsenal does not have the right to buy Ceballos following his one-year loan restriction with them gets over. Which is why Manchester City has decided that they could transfer in for him once he reverts to the Santiago Bernabeu. The 23-year-old was not getting an ample amount of game time under Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane. Thus, he voted to send him out on loan for a year. So far Ceballos has made 10 appearances for Arsenal across all opponents and has found the net once and assisted two goals twice so far.
David Silva might be departing the club at the end of this season. Hence, Manchester City has fast-tracked their hunt for a replacement and Guardiola believes Ceballos could be the solution. There are records of youngster Phil Foden looking for more developing pasturages as well. This will force Manchester City’s hands into hiring a world-class midfielder next summer at any price. The reports insist that Ceballos would cost around £50 million.
