Pepe might find himself on the sidelines despite impressing at Arsenal

Arsenal sideliner Nicolas Pepe was seen in action during the stunning 2-0 win against Molde. Pepe was seen making a return in an opening goal over Molde on Thursday after getting sidelined in a clash with Leeds United. The Ivory international came out roaring in the Thursday Europa league clash after receiving a red card during a clash with Sheffield United at the weekend match.

The Thursday night has been an electric return for Pepe. He earnestly utilizes the chance given to make up for the Sheffield Unites error. The Ivorian winger was asked to make a public apology for his rash headbutt on Ezgjan Alioski. Arsenal’s manager condemned him for his actions and stated them as not acceptable. Mikel Arteta was rationally angry and upset with Pepe for the act.

The rash headbutt cost him the Premier league suspension. That means he will be out of action for a few Arsenal clashes and fans would see him on the bench once again. After making a £72million move, Pepe’s presence already became a subject of interest for most of their supporters and thus he had to show up his best move in the Europa League.

For fans and everyone, Pepe did make a great comeback with two goals and two assists under his name. Overall he has made three appearances for Arsenal and has continued his dominant form in a 3-0 win at an Aker Stadium.

Eye-catching Pepe against Molds

Pepe came under the spotlight from the beginning of the match. He came while cutting from the right side with his skills. In the beginning, he could manage 20 shots inside. Where his shot was sent over the bar, another went to the goalkeeper, and a third one was curled up.

Even after 45 minutes from opening, Pepe has a hesitant, almost self-conscious AMD unprepared look on his face. Out of all the glimpses of quality that was seen on the pitch not a singly one could really translate into anything meaningful.

Since the beginning of his career at Emirates. Pepe could make Promises but usually, they were without any end-product. Pepe was well seen unprepared for Molde’s impenetrable defense that is hard.

The break gave time to reestablish the tactics and Arsenal was back on track. Glimpses of improvement were shown in a post-break match and Arsenal stepped up to claim a victory. Pepe was seen making a failed attempt towards the top corner at the beginning of the post-interval match.

However, in the second attempt, he picked up the balk and found the net. Slamming a ball at the top left corner. Pepe was definitely a level above against the opposition while taking note of his recent performances. He was able to register another assist prior to an hour break.

Pepe’s future with Arsenal

Nicolas Pepe rectified the situation with his goal. Had he was given more chances in the game the contrary to other players who will appear in the upcoming Premier League. He would have been careful and before moving towards the sidelines.

However, a streak of impressive performance might only help the club record signing to secure a spot in Mikel Arteta’s future squad.

Even though Pepe has given an eye-catching performance but there is a greater and tougher test ahead of him. The 25-year old can only step up on those great challenges by sustaining his form in future clashes and ensure his Arsenal future.
