Chennai Super Kings are the second-most successful franchise in the IPL with 3 titles. Kolkata Knight Riders have won 2 titles while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and Deccan Chargers (now defunct franchise) have won a title each.

IPL will be held in India

The previous edition was held outside India due to coronavirus challenge. However, it is certain that the upcoming edition of the IPL will be held in India. Chennai Super Kings were the worst performing team in the previous edition of the tournament.

Nobody expected the yellow brigade to perform this badly. They were languishing at the bottom of the points table more often than not. However, they rose from the ashes and won the last three games of the group stage to finish 7th in the table.

CSK released as many as 6 players from the team. Suresh Raina who backed out of the IPL 2020 citing personal reasons is finally back as CSK retained marquee player for the upcoming season.

CSK have taken bold calls this time around and will be looking forward to delivering the amends in the next season. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the three teams that are yet to lift the trophy since the 2008 edition of the IPL.

They released as many as 10 players from the squad and they will be looking forward to winning the trophy this time around. Kings XI Punjab also never won a title in their venture.

They finished at the bottom of the points table last season and they released as many as 5 players ahead of the IPL 2021 auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad also released 5 players ahead of the auction.
